Support Staff Appreciation Day 2024
This year, National Teaching Assistants’ Day falls on Friday, 27th September 2024. It’s a day to celebrate the dedication and hard work of Teaching Assistants (TAs), Learning Support Assistants (LSAs), Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) and ALL Support Staff in schools across the country.
They play a crucial role in our education workforce and are often the bridge between pupils, teachers, outside professionals and parents. Developing ways to effectively communicate with colleagues and work as a team is vital for all school staff. Building meaningful connections with colleagues can reduce workplace stress and support staff wellbeing. Strong relationships between staff are an important part of embedding a culture of wellbeing and respect that ensures all staff feel valued and supported throughout the academic year.
All our Support Staff run on goodwill and a passion to make a difference for every child they teach, so they deserve recognition for all the effort and dedication they all put in on a daily basis.
Each staff member was presented with some gifts of appreciation as well as being able to enjoy some down time with some sweet treats!
