Year 6 have continued their journey on sports vocabulary and how to share what they like and why. They have been working EXTREMELY hard on forming sentences. Our French Bag Winner did a fantastic job with her task!

BONNE ANNEE 2024! Year 6 started their year by receiving their letters back from their French penpals! We then studied the vocabulary around sports and sharing our likes and dislikes - all great vocab which we will include into our responses to the French students!

Year 6 played a Christmas bingo - with French vocabulary from Pere Noel to Un Bonhomme de Neige! We even had a winner of a French Christmas present!

Year 6 have been learning to say: J'aime, Je n'aime pas, J'adore, Je deteste!
Our French bag was brought home for taking part so well throughout the entire lesson!

Year 6 children expanded their French vocabulary by learning how to describe someone's hair and the colours of their eyes; and what better way to do this than to use the pictures of staff from our own school? Children looked at the pictures and ticked off which feature each member of staff has!
